Nerve Testing

Currently, we offer:

I.   Nerve Conduction Velocity Testing (NCV):

This is very useful to diagnose peripheral neuropathies of a variety of natures.

II.  Electrodiagnostic Examination

The electrodiagnostic medicine examination is useful in localizing the site of the neuromuscular lesion, determining the pathogenic basis of the disease process, and occasionally identifying the specific disorder.  Occasionally, an electrodiagnostic medicine consultant may detect abnormalities not suspected by the referring physician because of the nature of the disease only manifesting electrically at the time of the patient’s presentation, or suggest an entirely different list of disorders.

III.  Somatosensory Evoked Potential Testing (SSEP):

IV.  Impedence Cardiography  (BioZ):

Cardiac Output & Cardio-pulmonary Performance accomplished through the use of transcutaneous bio-impedence technology.  Determination of cardio-pulmonary status enables the practitioner to determine the net effect of anti-hypertensive medications, cardiac medications, pulmonary medications without resorting to invasive approaches such as angiography.Cost-effective and rapid, the BioZ is performed in the office.

BioZlogo62_1_.gifResults are computed locallly and available within a few minutes. Printout is available for transmission to other physicians for real-time use.
