All pain has an underlying physical cause, and it is the duty and responsibility of the physician to identify that cause. Experience dictates that patients with chronic pain have a far greater incidence of hormonal imbalances, and it is these hormonal imbalances that tend to prevent healing following injury. It is quite common for our patients to undergo extensive endocrine evaluation, followed by nutritional analysis. Essentially, our philosophy is to identify those areas of inadequacy and replace with bio-identical molecules. We then look to restoration of balance, and then the remarkable occurs. Patients begin to sleep again, pain decreases, depression abates and life begins anew. Our patients see the physician each and every visit. We do not use ‘physician extenders’ in this practice. Frankly, it is far too complicated for most physicians to master, and it is ludicrous to expect an assistant or nurse to perform these tasks adequately. To these ends, we intend to:
